Lindy Williams is an Australian woman currently serving 20 years to life for the 2013 murder of her fiancee, George Gerbic. She was profiled on Deadly Women Season 13, Episode Four, "Vow to Kill."

Lindy Williams lived on the Sunshine Coast, in the Australian state of Queensland. She was unlucky in love until she met George Gerbic, a former real-estate agent. The two immediately began a relationship, bonding over their love of political discourse. They soon made plans to be married in Las Vegas in September of 2013. However, only Lindy returned home after the honeymoon, telling George's loved ones that he had decided to move to Rio de Janeiro.

What no one knew at the time was that George Gerbic had never even made it to Las Vegas: he was already dead at the hands of his fiancee. For motives that remain unclear, on a night when Lindy and George were celebrating their impending nuptials, Lindy poisoned George's champagne with a mixture of four prescription medications, then, while he was unconscious, dismembered his body with an electric saw. She then drove 50 miles away and tried to burn his headless torso.

Lindy told investigators she had simply come home and found George's body dismembered in her bathroom. Police didn't believe her story, and in July 2018, Lindy Williams was found guilty of the murder of George Gerbic and sentenced to life with possibility of parole after 20 years. The rest of George Gerbic's remains have never been found, and Lindy has never confessed to the murder or divulged what she did with her victim's head and limbs.
