Susan Lucille Wright murdered her husband after constant abuse.
Susan learned that Jeff Wright was having an affair. On January 13, 2003, she tied up her husband in bed, telling him it was for sexual foreplay. She took a candle and poured candle-wax on his genitals. She then proceeded to stab him repeatedly in the face and chest. The tip of the knife broke just as her son knocked on the door. She took him to bed and retrieved another knife and continued stabbing him. She stabbed Jeff a total of 193 times.
Susan proceeded to bury Jeff in her children's playground. 11 days after the murder, overcome with remorse, she confessed to killing Jeff, though pleaded self-defense. She was found guilty of murder and sentenced to 25 years to life. However, she is currently serving 20 years.
